Simon Says: Year of the Bull – Instalment 2

This is a picture of a storm above my village. There was rain and thunder all around me,and above me there was a clear sky full of stars. .It was amazing, so after an hour of shooting i captured this moment. You can see it's raining, and thunder is coming out from the same cloud at the same time.

While 2020 was the Year of the Rat in Chinese Zodiac culture, 2021 is the Year of the Ox or Bull. The Australian Mallee Bull is a hardworking, straightforward beast that keeps everything organized, transparent and correct. Where there is a bull, work will be done, and the job will get done – the bull never gives up. 2021 will therefore be characterized by a lot of diligent work, professional activity, and a sense of duty.

This second instalment of “Simon Says” focuses on weather related trends and issues and covers:

  • climate change impacts
  • my weather prediction for the remainder of the year
  • the 1 in 100-year debate
  • renewable energy

If you missed the first instalment, looking at the year that was, you can find it here.
