November Renewal Update

Dear Member,

The Member renewal process is now complete and on behalf of the board of Directors and the entire Unimutual team, I would like to thank you for your continued support.

I am pleased to be able to report that:

• All but one of our University Members renewed (Bond University having notified us of their withdrawal earlier in the year).
• Twenty-six out of twenty-eight Allied Members also renewed.
• The total Contribution retention rate is over 99%.

This result significantly strengthens the mutual and is to the benefit of all stakeholders.

I, and the entire Unimutual team are extremely grateful for the opportunity to continue working with you and your broker for another year. I know I speak for all when I say that we remain fully committed to obtaining a detailed understanding of your requirements, providing the expertise and services that you need including improved analytics to assist in reaching those decisions that generate benefits.

Our focus now returns to the many Risk Management and Risk Mitigation engagements across our Members and to the continuation of the Member Plan process.

We also commence the Unimutual strategic planning cycle in coming weeks. Most importantly, this includes the opportunity for both Members and Brokers to provide any ideas or feedback for any additional products or services you would like to see us introduce. Please feel free to send these to either peter.klemt@unimutual.com.au or myself.

The Unimutual Conference will be held from the 16th to the 18th of March 2022 at the Sofitel Darling Harbour Sydney. This year is a particularly important year for a couple of reasons.  We have a full and interesting program and will introduce several new initiatives during our Roadmap 22 presentation.  Also, the conference provides the perfect opportunity for a post Covid catch-up and discussion with peers on current and evolving issues.

Consequently, it is important to us that you save the dates, look out for your invitation and book.

Finally, I personal note of gratitude to you the members, and to your brokers for allowing us to have the opportunity to perform.  Also, to my team for the exceptional job that they have done in delivering the result that the members have a right to expect and deserve.
