Recent incidents across Australia and the globe highlight the increasing risk of extended power failure. Members would be aware of university losses experienced last year from prolonged power failure during summer holidays, that quickly escalated due to minimal staff on the ground to respond. Here are a few suggested issues to consider to reduce the possible chaos and interruptions associated with a sudden, prolonged loss of mains power.
