Welcome to the February edition of the Member Matters newsletter.

This month’s newsletter shares many exciting upcoming items as we kick off the new year, including our annual conference next month.

Member Experience Survey

Late last year we sent out a Member Experience Survey to help us better understand how you, our Members, feel about Unimutual, as well as how we can serve you better. I firstly wanted to acknowledge and thank those who took the time to complete the survey and provide great feedback.

The sentiment was overwhelmingly positive, with 95 per cent of Members satisfied with Unimutual and 93 per cent of Members trusting Unimutual as an organisation. In the survey, our Members told us that we respond in a timely manner, communicate effectively, and are experts in our field. You also said that you would like some more transparency regarding coverage and contributions.

At our upcoming conference I will be sharing further detail on the results of the Member Experience Survey and what our focus areas will be this year in response to your feedback.

Conference on the Gold Coast – Wednesday 8 to Friday 10 March 2023

Conference registrations close today, Friday 10 February 2023. Don’t miss out on our first face-to-face conference since 2019, as we mark 33 years of operation.

The conference theme, Resilience in a changing landscape, reflects the journey that we’re all on. Our program of speakers, forums and networking events will provide you with opportunities to delve into what it means to be resilient and deal with constantly shifting parameters. It’s going to be an invaluable few days.

Member Contact List

The Unimutual Technical Committee proposed a Member Contact List be established to enable Members to easily connect with each other to collaborate and share ideas. We have collated a list of individuals who have agreed to be on this list and the information is available as an attachment within the Protection Document Repository area in Resure.
