This form applies to the management of known cyber-risks to which a typical Australian university would be exposed. As cyber-crime is a rapidly growing category of risk for all organisations, Members are encouraged to modify the following checklist as new cyber-perils emerge.

This checklist is generic and may not be suitable for all Universities’ Internet and cyber risks. It is recommended that each institution utilising this checklist, employ modifications to ensure it is appropriate for their individual circumstances and to better identify and mitigate the cyber-risks inherent in their teaching, research and community engagement operations.
