Dear Member,

I am very grateful to have the opportunity to work in the role of CEO for your Mutual, even if only in an ‘Acting’ capacity, and for an interim period of time. With my five years as board director of Unimutual, I have been involved in driving the strategic direction of the Mutual, and of course, through that work been exposed to member feedback. However, these past few months as acting CEO have allowed me to really see and understand on a first-hand basis how recent challenges related to our renewal process have impacted Members.

It has also allowed me, together with the entire Unimutual Team, both old and new members, to review and reconsider the obligations and responsibilities that the Mutual has, and the role that we need to perform for Members and their brokers.

It has been an incredibly enlightening and valuable experience, and I appreciate all the time the Unimutual team, Members and their brokers have spent to share their feedback, thoughts and ideas with me.
