Staying ahead of the curve together
Unimutual’s Conference 2024 will be held Wednesday 13 to Friday 15 of March at the Hotel Grand Chancellor, Hobart Tasmania.
Join us at the 2024 Unimutual Annual Conference and explore new ways to adapt and unlock new possibilities in an ever-shifting world. Get ready to delve into forward-thinking discussions and gain insights that will shape the path forward for the higher education and research sector.
The three-day conference will be held from Wednesday 13 March to Friday 15 March 2024 at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Hobart, Tasmania. This year’s theme is ‘Staying ahead of the curve together’, to prepare our Members and stakeholders for the next phase of innovation and progress in our industry.
The first round of sessions on Wednesday 13 March will be dedicated towards Member education, allowing delegates to gain a deeper understanding of Unimutual and its Protections. These sessions will also provide an opportunity to learn from our experienced Risk Management team. Sessions are designed for those new to Unimutual, or anyone wanting an opportunity to engage and gain knowledge from the expert Unimutual team.
We have an amazing line-up of speakers including Professor Rufus Black, Vice Chancellor, University of Tasmania who will present our keynote address. Change strategist and author Michael McQueen will also present an engaging session exploring the key trends that will shape tomorrow and how we can gear up for them today. We will share more about the speaker line-up in the coming months.
Delegates can also discover the impact that climate change will have on our Members, in a discussion led by Risk Frontiers – a Sydney-based research institute. Unimutual will also host a panel of experts about the changes in risk protection. Delegates can also learn about the future for pandemic cover and digital transformation in the higher education sector.
Dr Shasta Henry of Future Crunch – a passionate scientist and science communicator – will help delegates discover how to be a “Full Stack Human”. Learn how to excel in your primary area of expertise and develop competencies in diverse areas, fostering a broader understanding and capability to navigate various challenges in life. Dr Henry will explain how maintaining a broad skillset and mindset allows us to thrive in multiple domains and adapt to different situations effectively.
The 2024 Unimutual Annual Conference is packed with some amazing sessions and there will once again be plenty of opportunities to network with peers. This is certainly an event not to be missed.
