2018 Risk Transfer program and Member Renewals

It is with great pleasure that I can confirm all Members have renewed their membership and protections for 2018 as we complete the Unimutual Risk Transfer program for another year.

We are also delighted to welcome one new Member, Cromwell College, at the University of Queensland.

I take this opportunity to extend thanks on behalf of the Managers and The Board of Unimutual to all Members for your continued support during a challenging time for the insurance industry.

During 2017 we saw price increases become the norm within the insurance and reinsurance markets thanks to the effects of this year’s global and domestic losses. Current signs indicate price pressure is likely to continue throughout 2018. Consequently, the advantages of Unimutual’s collective model, and leverage that it offers Members, will continue to grow in importance.
