New Unimutual Member: Curtin University

We’re pleased to welcome Curtin University as our newest Unimutual member as of 30 June 2017.

Curtin University, named after the 14th Prime Minister of Australia John Curtin, is amongst the largest universities in Australia with over 59,000 students enrolled in 2015. It has expanded beyond Australia, with campuses in Singapore and Sarawak. As a member of the Australian Technology Network, the university is active in research in a range of academic and practical fields, including Resources and Energy (e.g., petroleum gas), Information and Communication, Health, Ageing and Well-being, Communities and Changing Environments, Growth and Prosperity and Creative Writing.

Having maintained an excellent risk profile through the years, risk management and mutual sharing of experience were important considerations in Curtin’s selection of Unimutual as a risk protection partner.

We look forward to working closely with Curtin University as a member and part of the Unimutual risk community.
