It is that time of year again when we are asked what Unimutual will deliver in terms of contribution rating for the forthcoming period. In a hardening (increasing) market, we hear this question more often and with more urgency, and we will continue to keep you up to date as we finalise our reinsurance arrangements. The following provides an update at the current juncture and, we hope, will give you a clearer picture of the wider environment that this year’s renewal will take place in.

Unimutual is aware that many Members nowadays are required to complete budgets well ahead of the upcoming year. We are reminded daily that this is a particularly interesting and changeable time for the insurance and reinsurance marketplace within which we are operating.
