2022 Conference – Technologies to Change the World
June 21, 20222023 Unimutual Conference
July 26, 2022As our dependence on digital accelerates in a post-COVID world, cyber risk continues to evolve creating more vulnerabilities for the higher education sector. Historically, universities are identified to be easy targets for cybercrime groups due to the lack of investment in technology and IT security to protect large amounts of intellectual property and student data.
At this year’s Unimutual Conference, we chaired a panel discussion exploring the current cyber landscape and its implications for the higher education sector. This session offered our Members strategies and practical advice to make cyber “less of a nightmare”. Panel moderator Richard Head (Headsure) joined Raymond Loh (AXA XL), Paul Byrne (CrowdStrike) and Chris Mclaughlin (Clyde & Co) to deliberate on current cybersecurity trends, insurance market conditions and how Members can best prepare this year’s Cyber Protection renewal.
