Unimutual’s Conference 2023 was held Wednesday to Friday the 8th – 10th of March at Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast.

This was our first face-to-face conference since 2019 and marked Unimutual’s 33rd year of operation. In the three years since we last gathered in person, it’s safe to say a lot has happened. A global pandemic, ongoing lockdowns, extreme weather, escalating cybercrime, market volatility, global conflict, and an inflationary environment are just some of the challenges faced by us as professionals, and as humans.

The conference theme, Resilience in a changing landscape, reflects the journey that we’re all on. Our program of speakers, forums, and networking events aim to provide you with opportunities to delve into what it means to be resilient and deal with constantly shifting parameters.

Our event MC was Walkley Award winning journalist, Tracey Spicer AM, and an entertaining and passionate keynote address was delivered by Professor Tyrone Carlin, Vice-Chancellor Southern Cross University.
