Unimutual named finalist in the 2026 Australian Service Excellence Awards

Unimutual has been named a finalist in three categories at the 2026 Australian Service Excellence Awards (ASEA) by the Customer Service Institute of Australia (CSIA).

The ASEAs are Australia’s premier customer service awards program, recognising best practice, performance and innovation in customer service across the country.

Our three finalist nominations are:

  • Customer Service Organisation of the Year (Government/Not-for-Profit) – recognising our excellence in delivering customer service to our Members, amid the unique legislative environment we operate in as a mutual.
  • Innovative Customer Experience of the Year – recognising our Lithium-Ion Battery Risk Guidance project that is supporting our Members through an emerging risk area.
  • Executive of the Year – recognising Unimutual Chief Executive Officer, Geoff Henderson’s leadership in driving a long-term institutional perspective with our Members at the centre.

These nominations reflect what a Member-owned model can achieve when everyone across the business is working towards the same purpose – delivering value for Members.

As a mutual, we exist to serve our Members, and this shapes the decisions we make, the guidance we develop, and the partnerships we build with universities and research institutions across Australia.

Winners will be announced at the ASEA Gala Dinner on 6 November. For more information about the 2026 ASEA, please visit the CSIA website.
